2026 Parade Registration

As you may have heard, by ONE VOTE, the theme for the 2026 Huntsville Christmas Parade is…

 

 

We are excited to be featuring the Rocket City in this year’s Christmas Parade, presented again this year by our friends at Food City!

It’s a celebration of our city, our communities, our landmarks, and our history together!

We’ve got a new route this year, new ideas, and we can’t wait to see how you incorporate this years theme into your float designs!

If you are interested in participating in the Parade, here is the first step! Please be very detailed in your entry description, and include Christmas lights (since the parade is at night)…and remember, Santa is already coming, so he can’t be on your float too. Take time to think it through before you register! Registration ends October 30th.

This person will receive ALL correspondence related to the Parade.
This phone number will be on file in the event we need to contact you regarding the Parade. Please have it available on Parade Day.
Type of Entry(Required)
Read through the options and select the one that best fits your entry. Select only ONE. For large vehicles, the route is NEW, streets may be narrow and corners difficult.
1 truck + 1 trailer = 2 vehicles; 6 motorcycles/golfcarts + truck + float/trailer = 8 vehicles
Estimated total of participants. This can be edited once your entry is approved. Include drivers/rider in and on floats, as well as those walking. One adult for every 5 children (under age 14) participating is required for safety reasons, per Huntsville Police. Each participant (including an adult signature for minors) is required to sign a waiver of participation.
Will your entry include animals?(Required)
Dogs/Cats must have proof of current rabies vaccinations on site; horses must have a negative Coggins test within the past 12 months (available if requested).

Be as detailed as possible, being sure to stick to the Parade Theme, "A Rocket City Christmas", and include Christmas lights. Entries are selected based on your description. Your registration will be returned to you if adequate information is not provided. Remember, your entries cannot include Santa.
I understand that completing this form does NOT guarantee a spot in the Parade, but only a registration to show desire to participate.(Required)
I understand that IF my entry is selected and my paperwork is NOT complete and submitted on or before the deadline, my spot in the Parade will be forfeited.(Required)
