For the past 23 years, the Huntsville Botanical Garden has been delighting people of all ages with the Galaxy of Lights! This year nearly 200 light displays from traditional holiday vignettes to dinosaurs, nursery rhymes and much more cover the garden, PLUS a new display is being unveiled this year – the Christmas Eve House. This house is a tribute to the legacy of Dr. John “Higg” Higginbothan, who for over 30 years transformed his home into a holiday wonderland.
Galaxy of Lights Walking Nights will be November 15-18, and 21-26 from 5:30 until 8:00pm. Guests who attend Walking Nights can visit with Santa, walk through falling snow in the twinkling light forest, and enjoy hot chocolate or spirited beverages along the way.
Walking Nights Admission:
Garden Members – $10 adults, $5 for children (under 2 are free)
Non-Members – $12 adults, $6 for children (under 2 are free)
November 18 and 25, visitors are welcome to bring their 4-legged friends to walk along with you – admission is $3 per dog.
Driving Nights (November 29 – January 4 from 5:30 until 9pm). The Galaxy of Lights will be closed December 2-3 for the Galaxy 5K and 3K. Admission is $10 per passenger cars (up to 10 people) is $25 at the gate, or $20 when purchased in advance either online or at the Garden’s guest center. On Monday nights, a $5 military discount will be given at the gate with military ID.
