!DEADLINE EXTENDED!

The deadline to register for the 2021 Mix 96.9 VBC Huntsville Christmas Parade has been extended to Friday, October 29 at NOON.

You don’t want to miss the opportunity to showcase your business or organization!  The route moves through downtown Huntsville and your float will be viewed by hundreds of people who live and work in the Tennessee Valley!

Here are the details:

Parade Date: Tuesday, December 7 @ 6pm
Theme: Christmas Back in Action: Your Favorite Christmas Movie

Turn your float into the station wagon from “A Christmas Vacation”, showcase the lamp from “Christmas Story”, or the Grinch’s home on Mt. Crumpit…the possibilities are endless!  You could even depict scenes from “The Christmas Story”, “Elf”, a favorite Hallmark Christmas favorite or your child’s favorite animated Christmas movie!

 

 

 

Registration for the parade is free!  However, entries who are selected to participate will require a $50 entry fee (payable only via PayPal), and completion of additional forms before the deadline set forth in those forms.

Please be as detailed as possible in the description of your entry, as this will be a deciding factor for selecting and approving entries for participation in the parade.  Your description MUST include lights or your entry will automatically be declined.  This is a requirement, since the parade is at night.

2021 Parade Registration

  • This person will receive all correspondence regarding the parade.
  • Contact Persons phone number - it will be used in the event further information is needed regarding registration and participation in the Parade.
  • All parade correspondence will be sent to this email address. Emails will come from parade@mix969huntsville.com
  • Car/Truck/Motorcycle Clubs are limited to 6 vehicles. Driver/Insurance information will be required for ALL vehicles.
  • One adult for every 5 children (under 14 years) participating in your entry is required for safety, per Huntsville Police Department. Each participant will be required to complete and sign the Indemnification & Hold Harmless Agreement.

  • A clean up crew MUST be provided to follow and clean up after any animal group BEFORE moving forward.
  • What Christmas movie are you basing your float on?
  • Be as detailed as possible, being sure to stick with the Parade Theme - Favorite Christmas MOVIE. Entries are selected for participation based on your description! If lights are not included in your description, you will be automatically declined! The parade is at night, so lights are a requirement!
