Scratch and Sniff billboards…..and if that’s not crazy enough for ya….these Scratch and sniff billboards are giant armpits. They were placed low to the ground
so anyone walking by can stop and take a good whiff!
Thankfully…it’s not B.O. you’re smelling. It’s a new ad campaign
for Billie brand deodorant. The company is debuting its newest
tropical-inspired scent, called Coco Villa. There’s a video that was posted on TikTok showing people stopping to scratch giant armpits and walking away looking pleasantly surprised. Scratch and sniff giant armpits.
- Long-Lost Sisters who have reunited after 67 years. Monette found out she has four sisters through Ancestry.com. The sisters traveled thousands of miles to meet and are now planning a family cruise.
- Three teens invented a salt-powered refrigerator that doesn’t need electricity. It can be used to help transport vaccines and medical supplies to rural areas. They won the 2025 Earth Prize and plan to test 200 units in 120 hospitals.
- Then we have a mailman who recently found $10 in a driveway along his route. Rather than just pocketing it….he rang the doorbell. No one answered, so he left it, along with a note, in their
box. The ring cam video has gone viral. - And Happy News from Food City…..Their Grand Opening for Old Gurley Rd location is today at 8am……and thru the month of May all Food City locations will hold a donation campaign for Type 1 diabetes research.

Abby loves spending time with her husband and 2 kids, and her beautiful granddaughter – eating at her favorite Mexican restaurant and most of all shopping for shoes! Her favorite vacation destination is the beach! One thing she couldn’t live without…a good cup of coffee anytime of the day!

Being from Connecticut, Bill is a huge New England Patriot fan! His career in radio began there and has taken him through Massachusetts, Central Pennsylvania…and along the journey, he’s met some pretty cool people – Sting, Van Halen, Aerosmith, TobyMac, Lauren Daigle and more!
Bill and his wife have three kids, two of which attend the University of Alabama Huntsville, and they all definitely take advantage of the fact that his ears “are shot”!
As the Mix 96.9 Morning Show Co-Host and “Traffic Guy”, Bill adds his quick wit and humor to the morning show along with making sure you know everything you need to know in order to get to and from work safely Monday through Friday morning and afternoon.
When not hanging out in the Mix 96.9 studio, he and his wife take advantage of all the great sights and sounds, and, of course, the local food scene in and around the Huntsville area!
