March 2 – 6 – It’s a pair of tickets to see Jim Brickman with the Huntsville Symphony on March 7th!
How would you like to turn those hour long trips into minutes?
That is soon to become a reality with Joby Aviation. The
company has partnered with Uber and is set to launch flying taxis
by the end of the year. The all electric aircrafts can reach speeds
up to 200 mph, go around 100 miles on a single charge, and can
carry up to four passengers. Unfortunately the first ones will
start flying in Dubai. They will basically have 4 landing spots….so
you still have to drive to get there. Uber is currently finalizing
FAA certification in the US and will most likely start in NY and Los
Angeles. But there’s no specific timeline. I’m sure they are
waiting to see how it goes in Dubai.
