Economy passengers on Air New Zealand will soon be offered
bunk beds on flights between New York and Auckland. These are
fully flat beds, called Skynest. The sleeping pods feature a
mattress, pillow, blanket, USB outlets and of course a seatbelt.
Each Skynest passenger will also get an eye mask, socks,
earplugs, lotion, and a dental kit. Bookings for the 4 hour
sessions will cost an additional $495. Being able to sleep on
those long haul flights….might be totally worth it? And yes they
do change the sheets in between. Skynests on Air New Zealand
is set to launch in November.
A 6 year-old saved his friend who was choking. Bryson gave a few hard back pats before the food came out of his friend’s windpipe. The Red Cross awarded him a hero’s
pin and a free Dairy Queen meal.We say congratulations to Clark….who is visually impaired, and recently completed a marathon using Smart glasses that told him where to run. He completed the 26.2 mile race in 6 hours, 20 minutes and raised over $3500 for charity.
A tiny burger joint in Michigan just helped out its cross town rival after finding out their competitor’s chef is battling cancer. Along with local bakeries and brewers….they raised tens of thousands of
dollars. It turned into a full blow community rally.And finding a parking spot in Downtown Huntsville is about to get easier. An app rolling out this summer will give drivers real time updates on available parking in city owned downtown garages and lots. It will locate the available spaces and navigate you to those spaces.

Posh meets Pre-historic on today’s CBT. The world’s first Purse,
made Of T. Rex Leather, was recently unveiled at the Art Zoo
Museum in Amsterdam.
Scientists used protein fragments from T. Rex fossils to grow
collagen and leather…so it’s lab grown leather, but it has created
giant sized excitement. The dark teal purse is about the size of a
letter bag. It is currently on display right next to a life size T-Rex
replica. Following its 6 week exhibit, the Prehistoric purse will be
auctioned off. The starting bid right now, is $663,000,
