The beef…..80,000 pounds of it….. was supposed to go out to customers, but the shipping coordinator subcontracted it out to a company called “List Trucking Sales,” and turns out…..it was NOT a legit business, and no one checked out the drivers who picked it up.
It happened at a Tennessee meatpacking plant last week. Authorities say it was worth around $350,000. It’s unclear what the thieves planned to do with all that meat…but I bet we could come up with a few meaty guesses. The thieves haven’t been caught yet. . . so that leaves us still wondering…where’s the Beef?

- Royal cows….or at least they are treated like royalty in Nevada. Tammy’s cows have a bedtime routine…that includes pajamas…yes cow pj’s…..snacks, and a cartoon movie. The cows, Millie and Milo, even enjoy premium pine shavings as their bedding.
- Have you heard the term “sharktopus”? It was trending this week after footage went viral of an octopus riding a shark like a horse. Extremely rare, because octopuses are normally on the bottom of the ocean, while sharks swim close to the top. Guess the octopus just wanted to check out what’s up!
- There’s going to be a Final Four Watch Party this Saturday in Downtown Huntsville. The North Side square will be turned into a basketball fun zone, with giant TV screens, games and activities. It’s free to attend, just make sure to bring chairs.
- The World’s largest bounce house is coming to Huntsville tomorrow through Sunday at the Rocket City Drag Way. The fun includes a 900ft obstacle course, a space-themed wonderland and deep sea foam party inflatable called OctoBlast.

Our Traffic Guy, also Bill Taylor – keeps you up-to-date on your morning commute, and trip home in the afternoon by giving you the heads-up on traffic coming in and going out of the Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur areas!
